Herbarium Wildflower was originally developed as a hand-painted wallpaper. Inspired by the bedroom of 18th century Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus’ home, Tess painted plant studies onto individual sheets of parchment paper and pasted them in an overlapping decoupage style. This bespoke project lead to Tess’ first wallpaper design. 

A charming wallpaper with the feel of a mural, Tess's original studies have been placed onto a warm lime wash ground. The design includes woodland ferns, bluebells, primroses, forget-me-nots, strawberries and wild roses.

Production

Each original artwork has been scanned to a high resolution and placed on a lime wash background, giving the wallpaper a charming hand-painted quality. 

High quality pigment print on non-woven paper, printed in Lancashire, England.

Quantities

As our Herbarium wallpaper has a large repeat, we recommend adding a 20% margin to your wall square meterage. Divide this by the roll square meterage (7.035 sqm) to calculate the amount of rolls you require.

Delivery & Returns

This wallpaper is held in stock - please allow 7 working days for UK delivery and two weeks for international delivery, excluding bank holidays and weekends.

When out of stock, please allow 6-8 weeks. 

Samples are posted free of charge to the UK, with a small fee for international delivery. We aim to send samples within 3-5 working days. 

If you need your samples urgently, please select Express or Next Day delivery at checkout.

We ship anywhere in the world, but please note, custom duties and taxes may apply if purchasing from outside the UK.
